ASPHALT OASIS is a tourism campaign that is meant to inspire people to get their covid vaccination so they can get back to doing what they love....moshing in a completely overcrowded, sweaty concert. This project was inspired by the influx of people who were tweeting on social media during quarantine that they kind of missed the kind of gross parts of being somewhere overcrowded. The overwhelming sounds, the suspicious smells, and the sights of dirty grimy floors. ASPHALT OASIS plays on this nostalgia by making their ads feel like you're looking down at your shoes at your favorite concert!
ASPHALT OASIS also includes an experience for vaccinated individuals. This project was created when it was announced by the CDC that vaccinated people could see each other without masks. The experience design would act as a rental room where a guest and up to 8 of their friends would be able to pay to mosh to their favorite music in either an outdoor or indoor experience.
